CONGRATULATIONS!

Friday and Saturday events were awesome!

The Poetry had passion!

The Exhibitions were inspiring!

Lots of people were there!

There were events for every age and interest!

What a wonderful event!

And, although there was too much wind for the Pharr Centennial Bubble,

................... it didn't rain!

One week to rest...........then we begin again:

1) July Coffeehouse Event, "Say It With Drama!" on Friday, July 31 from 5:30 to 10 p.m.

featuring the City Parks and Recreation program as featured guests with a special invitation

to the children and their parents from that program.

2) August Coffeehouse Event "A Back To School Celebration "Say It With Magic!" on

Friday, Aug 28 from 5:30 to 10 p.m. featuring Comedy and Magic/Theater Arts with Oscar

Munoz, a world-renouned magician and Pharr resident. (Look up his website oscarmunoz.com)

and ......................a special invitation to PSJA school children and their parents.

Good Conversation, Great Food, Table Games/Activities for Families and Kareoke/Open Mike

at all Coffeehouse Events.

#3) Beginning preparations for "A Pharr Tale", written by Tiffany Anderson and directed by Pedro Garcia, actor, film producer and the director of Teatro Nuestra Cultural. This will be a Centennial Event for the celebration of Pharr's 100th Birthday, and will be presented Nov. 6, 7 and 8th at the historic and beautiful Texas Theater on East Park St. in Pharr.

(Remember that the Open Auditions for a Cast of 24 persons will be held this Tuesday and Wednesday evenings [July 21 and 22] at 205 W. Park Ave. in the Drama Room. We will need local actors (with or without previous acting experience), singers, dancers, artists, public relations personnel and back-stage assistants for this production.
